Temp Mail for Telegram: Verify Without Exposing Your Email
Telegram's core signup runs on your phone number, but the app also asks for an email for login notifications and optional recovery. A disposable address covers that slot cleanly: paste it into Telegram's email field, confirm from the temp inbox, and your real address never enters Telegram's notification pipeline.

How to do it
- open a disposable inbox and copy the generated address.
- In Telegram, go to Settings → open your profile → add the disposable address in the email field.
- Telegram sends a confirmation code; read it in the temp inbox and enter it back in Telegram.
- Done. Login alerts now go to an inbox that expires instead of your personal mail.
Limits worth knowing
- Recovery dies with the inbox. If you lose access and the temp address is gone, email-based recovery is unavailable. Keep your phone number current, that is Telegram's real recovery path.
- Phone number is still required. Temp mail covers the email field only; Telegram accounts are anchored to a phone number, and that hasn't changed.
- Codes can take a minute. If the confirmation mail is slow, use Telegram's resend option before generating a fresh address.

Can I create a Telegram account with temp mail alone?
No. Telegram requires a phone number for the account itself; the email field is for notifications and optional recovery, which is exactly the part a disposable address covers.
Will Telegram block a disposable address?
Sometimes, if the domain is a known high-abuse one. Generating an address on a different domain usually passes, the same as with any other service.
